TESTUDO APC 

The Testudo APC - Police and Military Vehicles version is one of the world’s best armoured personnel carriers produced by Stark Armoring , a joint venture between Stark Armoring and I.A.S. Canada. Testudo APC can safely transport 10 occupants including two crew and eight troops.

The vehicle is integrated with spaced and sloped armour solutions for protection against mines, IEDs and ballistic threats. It protects the crew from anti-tank and anti-personnel mines, bomblets and artillery shells, and offers all-round ballistic protection against high power rifle protection.

Testudo can integrate various user equipment such as radio systems, LRAD systems, and mast systems for surveillance and detection. Testudo can also be equipped with pressurized cabin in order to allow comfortable operation also in presence of tear gas and other disturbing air contaminations.

The Testudor’s perimeter armouring of the passenger compartment and engine bay is designed to provide protection up to CEN B7 ballistic protection level. The floor is fitted with blast protection to defend occupants in case of a simultaneous explosion of 2 DM-51 German ordnance hand grenades or equivalent light anti-personnel mines. All utilized materials have been tested by internationally-recognized North American and European laboratories to meet ballistic protection standards.

In addition to standard security features such as perimeter gun ports, escape hatches, advanced locks, external view cameras, crowd-control systems, siren/PA system, emergency lighting, Stark Armoring equips its vehicles with advanced defense solutions to enhance vehicle’s ability to accomplish its mission in a secure and efficient way. Among available security solutions are remote weapon systems, turrets, escape hatches, video surveillance equipment, night vision systems, fire source detection systems, chemical protection units and other.
